“This year of school and training literally flew by.
Kay Cortiana, 21, trainee at Il Sentiero International Campus, smiles when she tells how she has woken up every morning over the past year happy to go to ITS Mechatronics in Schio and to work. “All of us post-diploma students have a motivation and a goal. So you don’t mind studying or working”.
The young trainee in Technical Writing at Il Sentiero International Campus, attracted by engines from an early age, has combined this passion with her studies and has recently completed the first year of the Higher Technician for Innovation in Mechanical Processes and Products course.
Kay was interviewed by Radio 24 and talked about her studies and her internship experience at an event that brought together all the Mechatronics ITS locations,The full interview to listen to is here.
When choosing the company where undertake the internship , she opted for Ecor International because she was already familiar with our industrial reality, having already had a good internship experience in the Assembly Area. “I really like the Technical writer role because it’s dynamicand precise. Every piece of information we put in the manuals will support the users and their safety depends on it”.
From mid-June to the end of October, Kay will do a full immersion working at our company and then she will resume her second year at ITS with three days at school and two days at Il Sentiero.
