Non-destructive testing is a complex of examinations, tests and measurements, aimed at finding and identifying defects in a structure or material. It is conducted using methods that do not alter the material and do not require the destruction or removal of samples.
X-ray and fluorescent penetrant tests are performed in the dedicated department. X ray tests use X-ray technology to radiograph components up to 20 millimetres thick. Liquid penetrant tests allow surface defects to be detected by capillary action through the application of a fluorescent product.
The Audit for NADCAP NDT certification was held on 30, 31 August and 1 September. Ecor International achieved the renewal of the NADCAP NDT process certification thanks to the professionalism and cooperation of all the departments involved, both in the preparation and execution of the Audit. It’s an important corporate asset.
