Ecor Research has successfully passed the audit for renewing ISO 9001 certification, which since 1998 attests a standard of excellence in the Quality Management System.
The auditor has assessed positively the diversification strategy implemented by the company in new markets and the launch of initiatives, including the opening of the division “The Ecor International Campus” in Castelvetro di Modena and the participation in the Poema project for the aerospace field for improving the quality and efficiency of aircraft engines.
Furthermore, the introduction of innovative technologies, the business activity monitored through Key Performance Indicators (KPI), the product traceability and the system management of internal qualification of personnel in charge of special processes have been appreciated.
The company, today, in addition to ISO 9001, has achieved 5 certifications, related to both system and product: ISO 14001, since 2004, on environmental management; OHSAS 18001, since 2013, on health and safety of employees; SA8000, since 2013, on employees’ rights; AS/EN 9100, since 2010, quality management for aerospace industry; NADCAP, since 2011, on welding, brazing and non-destructive testing processes.
