From 28th January to 2nd May we will attend the exhibition “Beyond the Man: From Leonardo to Biotechnology“, which will be held at Lanificio Conte Shed in Schio (Vicenza province). The exhibition, organized by Pleiadi, together with the Municipality of Schio and Confindustria Vicenza, is promoted by the District of Science and Technology, to which belong some of the northern Vicenza manufacturing companies, including Ecor Research.
This new exhibition will be dedicated to the inventiveness of man: the first inventions of Leonardo da Vinci, and his studies based on nature and the human body to conceive machines at the service of men, the automation replacing human labor with mechanical robots, in a process that leads to results of high technology and excellence in the territory and beyond. In addition to this, new biotechnologies, where the well-being and human life themselves are supported by applied research in the biomedical field with laser, prosthesis, robotics, biotech and 3D printing of human organs.
A path through historical and technical aspects, in which information are provided to visitors through historical pieces, interactive exhibits, touch screens, video walls and apps.
The initiative has already received the support and partnership of the University of Padua, the Industrial Heritage Museum of Bologna, Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa, besides involving several partner companies in Italy and in the Vicenza area, during the event lectures and meetings will take place.
Ecor Research, during the exhibition, will present the activities in the pharmaceutical sector in the section “The genius for humans”, dedicated to the tools and technologies for the benefit of men and their body. In this context, we present the design and production activity of customized Pass Boxes, that is to say plants for the sterilization of medical objects.
Moreover, in the section “The genius of humans”, dedicated to the world of mechanical engineering and automation, the “Roncoletta del Doge” will be displayed. It is a luxury object patented to cut chestnuts invented by Ecor Research founder, Mr. Sergio Lucietto, which has already been presented at the Salone del Mobile and at the “D-Nest-International Inventors Exhibition”.
