It will be opened until March 29th at Lanificio Conte in Schio, Vicenza, the interactive exhibition “Beyond the Dream: from the flight to the space”, sponsored by the District of Science and Technology, which includes some of the northern Vicenza excellence manufacturing companies, including also Ecor Research that displays in a stand some products.
The exhibition tells the dream of flying Man: a journey that begins with the first experiments with the balls of paper, continues with the invention of the hot-air balloon and the first attempts of the Wright brothers and ends with the exploration of the space in the modern era.
To the setting up of the exhibition has taken part a major scientific panel, the Italian Space Agency, the National Institute of Astrophysics, Thales Alenia Space, the Italian Air Force with the National Network of Aviation Museums, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority and it is only one of the projects of the developing District of Science and Technology.
This association, created by entrepreneurs of the northern part of Vicenza, was born with the aim to promote the industries of the territory, which are characterized by high technological level, started with textiles and developed today in other fields, including the aerospace, biomedical, 3D. The goal of the District is to become a magnet for investments and human resources.
